			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My goal for 2010 is continuous improvement on my eating habits, but my goal for the year is to achieve and maintain an 80/20 balance of good food to bad.</p>
<p>So what does the 80/20 food rule mean? It means that 80% of the time you&#8217;ll be choosing healthy foods that are low in fat, high in vitamins, have good low glycemic carbohydrates, and plenty of fiber. These foods include whole grains, most fruits and vegetables, low fat dairy, and lean meats.</p>
<p>The 20 part of the 80/20 rule is the 20% of the time you can eat foods that aren&#8217;t quite so healthy for you, just because you enjoy them.</p>

If you have a New Years resolution to lose weight, and get healthy you&#8217;re not alone. Losing weight is one of the most popular resolutions people make every year on New Years day. </p>
<p>How can you make your resolution a reality? Take it one small baby step at a time. Set small goals and work your way toward them. </p>
<p>Don&#8217;t set crazy goals to lose large amounts of weight, or totally overhaul your lifestyle. You&#8217;ll rebel! Set small goals, and set up small healthy changes in your life to work toward those goals. You&#8217;ll have a far greater chance of succeeding. </p>
<p>My resolution is to move more. I goal is to move 20-30 minutes a day at least 5 days a week. I&#8217;m already very close to that goal, so it&#8217;s not a major change. </p>
<p>My diet resolution is to eat more natural and filling foods, versus processed foods in 2009 to help me achieve my weight loss goals. </p>
